my name is mila and i am a multifaceted designer and photographer based in Washington, DC.

whether through built environments or behind the lens, my work explores the relationship between people, place, and the natural world. In a time of growing disconnection from one another and from nature, I strive to create and capture moments that restore a sense of presence, belonging, and joy.

rooted in sustainable placemaking and inspired by the quiet beauty of everyday life, my design practice and photography are both acts of storytelling. i’m particularly drawn to urban spaces and candid scenes, where architecture and human experience meet in subtle, powerful ways. whether it’s a passing moment on the street or the design of a public space, i believe that design and visual storytelling can help reconnect us to what truly matters.
